Caring Support That Preserves Dignity and Independence

Personal care is one of the most important forms of home support we provide β€” and one of the most personal. We understand that asking for help with washing, dressing or toileting requires trust, and we treat that trust with the greatest respect.

At Surely Yours Healthcare, every personal care visit is carried out with patience, discretion and genuine warmth. Our carers take the time to understand your loved one's preferences, follow their routine and ensure they feel entirely comfortable throughout every visit.

We support older adults, people recovering from illness or surgery, and adults of all ages living with disabilities or long-term health conditions. Whether care is needed once a day or several times throughout the day, we build a schedule around your loved one β€” not the other way round.

Who Is Personal Care at Home For?

Personal care at home is suitable for a wide range of situations. Families often contact us when:

An older adult is finding it increasingly difficult to wash, dress or manage personal hygiene safely and independently
A loved one has recently been discharged from hospital and needs short-term support whilst they regain their strength
A family carer can no longer provide all the physical assistance needed on a daily basis
Someone is living with dementia or a progressive condition that affects their ability to manage personal routines
A person is living with a physical disability or long-term health condition that makes personal care difficult
Support is needed following a fall, illness or surgery

Personal care visits can start as quickly as 3–5 working days after a free assessment. In urgent situations, we can often begin within 24–48 hours.

How to Fund Personal Care at Home

Personal care can be funded in several ways. We are happy to help you understand your options and identify what may be available to your loved one. We do not provide formal financial advice.

Private Self-Funding

You arrange and pay for care directly. We discuss full costs during the free assessment β€” there are no hidden charges.

Direct Payments

If your local authority has assessed your loved one as eligible, they may provide a direct payment enabling you to purchase care from a provider of your choice.

Local Authority Funding

Following a care needs assessment by your local authority, your loved one may qualify for partly or fully funded support.

NHS Continuing Healthcare

For those with a primary health need, fully funded care may be available through the NHS. Eligibility is formally assessed by the NHS.

We do not display pricing on our website. All costs are discussed transparently during your free, no-obligation assessment.
